Re-registration By Examination Requirements

Starting in 2007, you can choose to re-register by examination. The process includes the following steps:

• Establish an NREMT account on the NREMT website (Note: request a "Registrant or Candidate" user role)

• Complete a re-registration examination application, (after validating eligibility with your NREMT number) and pay the fee on the website

• Receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) Letter from the NREMT

• Follow the directions contained in the ATT Letter to schedule an exam

• Take the examination before March 31, 2008 (one attempt only)

• Pass the examination

• Receive an abbreviated re-registration form from the NREMT

• Return the form by March 31, 2008
